Effective immediately, Friends of Moma Hospital will have a new funding partner–Congo Hope, which is a division of Congo Leadership Initiative (CLI) — to administer and distribute your donations. CLI, the parent organization, is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.

All donations for Moma Hospital that were previously administered through Mission: Hope will be moved to CLI-Congo Hope for use by Moma Hospital.

The partnership with CLI-Congo Hope will further increase our independence and help us develop a strategy customized for Moma’s unique challenges. 

CLI is not new to the Congo. Working out of the capitol Kinshasa, CLI provides Congolese youth with a range of training programs in leadership and entrepreneurship. Once training is completed, these young people receive support to make positive change in their communities. Since its founding in 2010, CLI has trained more than 3,000 young leaders who have gone on to launch over 500 small businesses and community service projects that continue to improve the lives of tens of thousands of Congolese citizens.
