Last December we met our goal of raising $4,000 for much-needed surgical instruments and kits for Moma Hospital. We just received pictures of the instruments being sorted and ready to be sterilized at the hospital. A variety of “general surgeries” are performed at the hospital, and having a supply of good instruments is critical.

All of these instruments are manufactured in the Congo or elsewhere in Africa. Such purchases are a win-win for the economy of the country as well as for the health of the patients at Moma Hospital.
